Step One:

Step Two:
We’ll help you to set up an interview with a STAR representative. This interview will last from 1-2 hours and can be scheduled at your convenience.
 
Step Three:
STAR FFA professionals will meet to assess and evaluate information provided during your interview and determine your compatibility with our agency.
 
Step Four:
After being pre-certified, you will be given a packet of information and forms to begin filling out. It will outline the final steps required to being certified, such as CPR and First Aid training, and a health screening.
 
Step Five:
Once you begin to send us your completed forms, you will be invited to attend several pre-certification trainings at our STAR FFA office. You need a total of 20 hours of training before being completely certified.
 
Step Six:
A STAR FFA professional will visit your home to conduct a “licensing walk-through” to assess the safety/security of you home.
 
Step Seven:
CELEBRATE! You are now a certified Foster Family.
